The
PPA leader Stepan Demirchian marks in this way the project of National security
point. The Minister of Defense Serge Sargsian addressed an invitation to the
opposition to produce their proposals on the published document "The landmarks
of the strategy of the RA national security" which has been adopted as a
ground for the point of National Security. "I don’t think that we should
invite the opposition specially. Who will like, with pleasure", – Serge Sargsian
has said during the press interview after the first sitting of the inter-department
commission which coordinates the works of the project of the strategy of the national
security. He promised that if the oppositionists had certain proposals they would
be invited to the sitting of the commission and would make their proposals.To
our question whether they are going to accept that invitation the head of "Justice"
group Stepan Demirchian said that they hadn’t been invited in reality, that wasn’t
a way of invitation. They should inform about sittings and discussions of those
inter-department commission publicly.And in general Stepan Demirchian’s remark
on the ‘Landmarks of the strategy of the RA national security was the following;
"Everything is formulated very beautiful in that document, in particularly
democratization is considered important in the sphere of internal security, providing
for constitutional right of citizens, fight against the corruption, equality towards
the law… Everything is formulated very right and is indeed important. But the
main point is that all these have been produced by the group of those persons
who have infringed constitutional rights of citizens. The group, which impedes
democratization, it has formed a clan system and serves for its interests. That
is, it is important for the security all what these authorities have infringed
and violated for many years. The conclusion is obvious; this regime threatens
by its actions our national security. And it is important for our security to
get rid of this regime and exclude it reproduction".A.
