Victor Dallakyan, being elected by majority electoral system in N 30 polling station, is the only parliamentarian, who has won seats for four times.
– Judging from financial, administrative and criminal levers, used in N 30 polling station, we can suppose that the authorities were able to get rid of you. But you won the parliamentary seat again, What is a miracle?
– What happened in Vanadzor in 2003 was repeated. I’m proud of Vanadzor citizens’ will. They did the impossible, and won the current authority for the first time. I’m grateful to the citizens of Vanadzor. They devoted me political life. By the way, the ruling Republican Party got during the elections 6.130 votes while I got 15.102 votes. I should also say that Vanadzor is also unique for its “duduk” monument, the length of which is 4 meters.
– How do you explain your victory” You had no car, no headquarters, no money but you won, is it possible?
– Contrary to others, I believe that the devil is not so terrible as he is painted. It is simply impossible to struggle against Satan in darkness. When you have contacts with people based on moral standards, the darkness yields. In this case the phenomenon of Lori dwellers is obvious: money for them are dirt and nothing else. Not only my compatriots but also the whole Armenians have preserved humanity, morality, and honesty. The criminal administrative system, facing the honesty of Vandzor citizens, their sense of honor and dignity, lost, as this kind of categories is impossible to demolish. Simply a part of our nations has been demoralized because of commercialization of life. Moral revolution is our problem of core importance to cure moral-psychological atmosphere I our country.
– But the presidential elections are coming, there is no time and the revolution will hardly be held.
– Don’t forget that one revolution in Armenia has already been held in Armenia, that is administrative-criminal revolution. The upcoming presidential elections in 2008 may become the final phase of the current regimes’ reproduction. If the moral-psychological revolution won’t be held before. Though the organized “campaign”, the polling showed that the general correlation of forces wasn’t for the regime. My prediction about 80 percent of opposition constituency was affirmed. The part of this constituency voted for different opposition parties, others were for ARF and “Prosperous Armenia”; RPA has received very few votes. Only 15-20 percent of electorate was bribed. Thus, the administrative-criminal revolution won only for the authorities and has become the government and criminal world, which managed to involve several parties and part of citizens in its scenario. As a result, Armenia has become a new Sicily. But the regime that its step was untimely, that’s why it now tries to involve more political forces and politicians. I myself think that for each political power it is very dangerous to become the mask of the current regime.
– In your opinion, whether those 80 percents will join round the opposition in case of its unification?
– The problem of the opposition’s unification is the brand of the authority’s propagandizing machine. To win the reproducing regime, you should form a valuable alternative. I think a moral-political watershed should be formed based on our Christian and traditional values of our nation. We should cooperate, in spite of ideological, party or other obstacles. The myth of the current regime’s non-punishment is just the luck of moral and value alternative. So let’s think of its formation.
