CITIZENS OF VANADZOR MEET WITH THE PROSECUTOR GENERAL

RA NA parliamentarian Viktor Dallakyan organized that meeting.

 Several employees from «Belisimo» restaurant complex and their parents came to Yerevan from Vanadzor who were forced to give false evidences in the Prosecutor\’s office. After a short mass meeting  in frint of the RA General Prosecutor\’s office they went to the RA NA where it was being discussed to renominate Aghvan Hovsepyan in that position for 6 additional years.

«We heard the Prosecutor\’s speech which was a show. We are the representatives of that show, we have everything: medical papers, cassettes, photos»,- Ashot Ghukasyan\’s mother told NA parliamentarian Anahit Bakhshyan whose son was beaten in the Prosecutor\’s office. The demonstartots were trying to oppose to the Prosecutor\’s remark as if their complaints were a «show».

«I have grown my son up not to be beaten by them»,- the mother of one of the  victims complained. 21 years old Arman Nersisyan was interrogated. He was being beaten and asked to give the names, which supported them. A. Nersisyan is going to turn to doctor.

One of the waitresses of the same restaurant Anna Tumanyan is one of the victims: “They came and took me to the Prosecutor’s office from 10 am till 1am”. She was interrogated by inspectors from Yerevan. « They were three who were making me give any information unless they will arrest and send to prison. I am frightened, they wanted me to remember something but what should I remember? «I was also forced to sign under a document which they didn\’t allow me to read». Another waitress Satik Parsamyan refused of signing any document because «I insisted on looking at the document which I should sign». Karen Dodoryan is also a waiter and was beaten most of all.

NA lawmaker elected from Vanadzor also met with the demonstrators from Vanadzor, and promised to organize a meeting with the NA Chairman before the polling on the Prosecutor General\’s renomination. He kept his promise, and three victims, Arman, Satik and Anna, Ashot Ghukasyan\’s mother as well met with the Prosecutor and Tigran Torosyan.

Aghvan Hovsepyan promised the victims to examine their complaints and call the guilty person to responsibility.  He also repeated that the public actions of Vanadzor citizens were shows» and he knew who supported them. In answer to this, the citizesn of Vanadzor told that they are also interested in detection of the  Prosecutor\’s murder but without using violence.
