The Rule of Law Party (RLP) Has Become a “7-Star” Party (Video)

February 29,2012 14:21

Artur Baghdasaryan, the leader of  the Rule of  Law Party was hosted at the Congress hotel not with bread and salt, but with the new symbol of the RLP today. It has changed after the RLP became a member of the EPP. Artur Baghdasaryan promised the RLP members that accordingly their symbols would change soon. The new symbol of the party is the tricolor and 7 stars reminding of the European family over the party.

www.aravot.am inquired from the RLP members what those 7 stars meant, whether they meant that the RLP was a 7-star party. One of the RLP members Paruyr Manukyan responded that he liked the new symbol very much and those seven stars just corresponded to the EPP symbol and reminded of their membership.

Artur Baghdasaryan was applauded all the time during his speech, “Regardless of the approaches of our ill-wishers, the RLP has drawn up 200 laws, the RLP has done huge work. There is no village, where the RLP is not considerably represented. Before every election, black propaganda is voiced against the RLP, even in 2008, when I was nominated a candidate for the president, they said that Artur Baghdasaryan would win 1%. But I won 20%. Since 1999 before every election our political opponents, instead of speaking of their problems, have talked against the RLP and have said again the RLP will win 1% or 2%, but our 15-year history has shown that the RLP has always won in every parliamentary election and will win a very serious victory in May.”

Mr. Baghdasaryan also informed that 150 thousand citizens of the Republic of Armenia had become members of the RLP and their number was gradually increasing.

The RLP also held a reception, during which ambassadors and guests drank cognac and wine and congratulated Artur Baghdasaryan. We found out that cognac and wine served were not Hayasi.
