Before Hrant Bagratyan, the leader of the Freedom Party and a former Prime Minister, would officially announce his candidacy for the presidential election, news was circulating that after the presidential election, Mr. Bagratyan would become the Minister of Economy.

“They say you love your position and work, won’t you be sorry to resign your office; it is intended for Hrant Bagratyan after the election?” When Tigran Davtyan heard this question of www.aravot.am, he was a bit surprised and said: “You have already answered that question.” After thinking for a short while, the minister added: “Who is supposed to decide will decide. We have had 10 ministers of economy in the Republic of Armenia; I am the 10th minister, and Bagratyan is the first one. But is there any need to comment on such speculations?”
