On August 2, during the peace public speech in the Georgian village of Tekali, in particpation of Armenian and Azerbaijani youth, we asked the Azerbaijani political scientist ZArdusht Alizadeh how it is likely that the Armenian-Azerbaijani border tensions would turn into a full-scale war. Alizadeh said that he has little information and he does not have access to the ruling circles.
According to him, Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan do not need a new war between Armenia and Azerbaijan, they are firmly seated in their chairs, get benefits from these positions, provide everything to their relatives and close circles, the people are humble and want nothing, they ask, beg and are on the knees. The political scientist said that I. Aliyev and S. Sargsyan do not need war, because war is dangerous, it may change the balance of forces, in case of an outcome, it may cause shifts in the society and ultimately lead to the loss of power, hence, Aliyev and Sargsyan benefit from the current situation of status quo and added, “Now, look wider. Who needs a new opportunity of information to divert the attention away from something? It is Russia.
Now everyone criticizes and accuses Russia on two reasons: the Malaysian air force and supporting the Donbass and Lugansk separatists.
And Russia no way manages to win in this information war. Hence, an information opportunity is needed to divert the attention. What it can do? It can do so that a new and huge war can burst out in nearby with great losses, and it can only be done in Karabakh. It can give command to its satellites or one of them. If one starts, the other will have to be involved in this event. And war will begin, there will be many victims, destructions, the world media sources and news agencies and newspapers would sent their correspondents here, who would day and night cover everything.
