“What is in your mind? What do you want? Will there be a change of power in this country? Will a revolution be carried out? What do you want? Do you want to have the second March 1 in this country? What is in your mind?” such question recently addressed Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan to the Trio during the Q&A with the government at the National Assembly. In the conversation with “Aravot”, in response to the questions raised by the Prime Minister, the ANC faction leader Levon Zurabyan said, “Didn’t he say that being engaged in politics does not require much wit? He did say it, didn’t he? The man now does everything to show the truth of his words. What’s up? He is making a confession on March 1, and instigates people against him and against the government. Truly, the policy does not need much wit.”
Hovik Abrahamyan has also made a suggestion for cooperation with the opposition, saying, “Let’s work together. You may give new ideas, you many rule in one month, to correct this country, amend, and develop the economy. I suggest transferring this magical wand to us to lead this country forward. I would like to ask and urge all political forces to support us to give solution to this problem in order to have success in the result of our joint decisions. This is our goal.” It is not the first time that Hovik Abrahamyan is making calls of cooperation with opposition.
To our question of why the opposition does not follow these calls and is not willing to support the government to save the country, Levon Zurabyan said, “With thieves and robbers? I do not know. How can we cooperate? On the shares of looting? About what can we cooperation? What outcome can we suggest to the government? If they are talking on one simple thing, a simple monopoly – the sugar monopoly for years, and are unable to untie it, what outcome can we suggest them? The outcome is simple, elimination of this monopoly is a matter of one second. How can we cooperation with them? How many wits should you have to solve this simple issue? What? Does it require cooperation with them?” If the “magic wand” is in their hands, then why Hovik Abrahamyan is calling and asking for help, Levon Zurabyan responded, “He is the great master of the show, isn’t he? What do you expect?” The rally of Trio will be held on October 10, in the Freedom square. The representative of one of the forces of Trio, “Heritage” MP Zaruhi Postanjyan said to “168Hours” that she would not go to the rally because she is not happy with the agenda of inviting to the rally. These people are much more interesting for me.”
