“As I have stated in one of my earlier speeches, Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian union is an irreversible reality. And the trembling of two-three dozen individuals regarding this matter are becoming ridiculous, because those two-three dozen people can achieve nothing, but poison people’s minds, and in no way they can dictate political agenda”, such assessment was voiced by the first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan in his speech delivered at the rally of the Trio in the “Liberty Square” referring to those who are against the EaEU accession.

Aravot.am asked the Board member of “Heritage” party, Susanna Muradyan, whether she agrees to Levon Ter-Petrosyan that only 2-3 dozen people are against the EaEU accession, she replied, “No, we do not agree. But it is not me to agree. We have our opinion and you know it. Thousands of members of our party, all of them think that we need to choose our direction, it’s another matter that we have a non-legitimate administration, and this accession was imposed to us.”

To our question that the assessment by the first president saying that you are nervous and stir up people’s mind, so whether it is not an insult for you, Susanna Muradyan replied, “No, I’m not offended. The Trio is a mid-parliamentary Trio. All have different plans, different directions and different views on different issues. The Quartet or Trio collaborated on 12+1 elements. It reaches the point that the Trio or the Quartet, if the PPA has already joined, then they have set the task to change the power. Later on, when we have a legitimate government, probably the direction, which the current illegitimate government has chosen will be reviewed.”

As for whether the words by the first president are offensive for the “Heritage” political party or not, according to Susanna Muradyan, Raffi Hovannisian had already given the response to Levon Ter-Petrosyan in his speech. To our observation that you have come out to a common fight and have disagreements over fundamental issues, Susanna Muradyan replied that their unity is about the regime change. “Having different opinions, different plans and different directions, we have come together on 12 + 1 elements, and the core issue is the regime change.”

To our question of whether there would be no questions raised as to which direction Armenia should take in the event of the regime change, Susanna Muradyan responded, “When the people would elect the administration they want, then the legitimate administration will hold a referendum, which will decide the direction that the population of Armenia wants to have.”
