NSS did not bring criminal charges against the interrogated clergyman

Pursuant to the lawsuit of Stepan Danielyan, Director of “Partnership for Democracy” Center, no criminal elements were detected at the NSS in the actions of Father Komitas Hovnanyan interrogated at the NSS. Note that Mr. Danielyan had applied to NSS about some statements made by the Father, demanding to check the reliability of these statements. Based on the lawsuit of Mr. Danielyan, NSS responded that there are no features of crime provided for by Article 226 of the Criminal Code (Inciting national, racial or religious hatred), hence the NSC has made a decision to dismiss filing a criminal case.
