As we have informed, ANC faction secretary Aram Manukyan was beaten near his house. This is already the third incident in the last one week. Aravot.am asked ANC MP Lyudmila Sargsyan whether after so many cases, it is not necessary for the opposition members to walk with bodyguards. She answered, “Who will provide us with a bodyguard? They have to be paid. Eventually, Aram is an MP, and in this case, they are just obligated to figure out who the attackers and the clients are. The problem is that they would not identify because the client is in their midst, this is the problem. It is also sad they do not surrender. They are trying to do what they had intended at any cost. But, there would be a counterblow to it. Not by their methods, but definitely, there is going to be a reversal and not to their benefit. Now, all of them will be consolidated.” According to Lyudmila Sargsyan, “the criminal again raises its head, and there is an atmosphere of lawfulness in the country,” this is the problem. According to her, “The reason why they want it is not clear. We are trying to reach the ear and brain of the government in a civilized manner that this situation cannot possibly be continued. Either try to rule as normal, reform the country and improve people’s social condition, or you should leave the government. But we have never tried to turn Armenian to Maidan. They seem to be pushing the society to do something.”
