Defense Ministry of Armenia reports that the spread of disinformation by some Azerbaijani media outlets (haqqin.az, politika.az, meydan.tv) that Armenian armed forces allegedly have violated the ceasefire agreement in the southwestern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the Nakhichevan direction, which resulted in the death of an Azerbaijani soldier, doesn’t correspond to reality.
“Armenian armed forces strictly adhere to the maintenance of the ceasefire and take up corresponding actions only in case of the violations and shelling on the adversary’s side,” reads the statement, released by the ministry.
