On September 7, 20:57 local time (GMT – 16:57), the Seismological Network of Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia registered a 4.5 magnitude earthquake.

According to MES, the epicentre of the earthquake was located 39 km from Zaqatala, Azerbaijan.

The earthquake was also felt in the territory of Noyemberyan, Armenia.
