September 08,2016 12:45

This gentleman in a unique national outfit is the Education Minister of the Republic of Niger, Daouda Mamadou Marte. He has arrived in Armenia together with the ministers of Zimbabwe, Burundi, Niger Lesotho and other countries to attend the 18th Global Child Nutrition Forum. In an interview with Aravot, Daouda Mamadou Marte confesses that when seeing off to Armenia, his friends who have never heard of our country have advised him, “Be careful because you do not know what country you are going to although people say that it is a secure region.” And he has replied, “If I am living in a country where there is “Boko Haram” then nothing can happen to me in any place in the world.”

Note that “Boko Haram” is a Nigerian Islamist extremist terrorist organization which acts against the Western education and culture. The members of the gang are sure that any political and social activity that is associated with Western values must be rejected. Niger’s education minister thinks that he considers himself a happy man for arriving in Armenia and regrets that he has to immediately return to his homeland being unable to communicate with the culture of our country.
