A day before the anniversary, “Aram Khachatryan” concert hall hosted a concert again dedicated to the anniversary of independence, in the participation of Armenia’s National Philharmonic Orchestra (artistic director and principal conductor Eduard Topchyan).  The soloists, desirable guests to today’s already renowned orchestras and concert halls in the world: violinist Sergey Khachatryan and cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan, really showed brilliant performances.  Shostakovich’s Concerto No. 1 in the interpretation of Khachatryan was simply perfect.  Dvořák’s concerto performed by Hakhnazaryan was “on the same level.”  These assessments were voiced by our renowned artists in the end of the concert.

After 13-year-old descant, Hakob Ghasabyan’s performances (Kachchini’s “Ave Maria”, Webber’s Pie Jesu, Coeli’s Halleluyah) who is a student at the Conservatory of the city of Lille, France, the hall was truly “blowing out.”  Recall that after winning the Sibelius Competition (Helsinki, 2000) and the Queen Elizabeth Competition (Brussels, 2005), Sergey Khachatryan recognition internationally began.  Two world competitions stimulated Narek Hakhnazaryan’s activities: Aram Khachaturian (Yerevan, 2006) and Tchaikovsky (Moscow, 2011).  As for Hakob Ghasabyan, Europe recognized the young singer from the “Talented-2015” project over France 2 TV channel where he was recognized a winner, while in Armenia – from the “New Names” International Festival held in 2016.
