By the decision of the First Instance Court of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun administrative districts, today, the detention term of “Sasna Tsrer” member Varuzhan Avetisyan was extended for two months.
Note that the pre-investigation body submitted a petition to extend the detention period of Avetisyan, reasoning that there are still a number of investigative actions to be conducted. Today, the court granted the petition submitted by the pre-investigative body. Note that Varuzhan Avetisyan is accused of holding a hostage and illegal keeping, carrying and transporting of weapons and ammunition.
