The French musician Didier Marouani arrived today in Yerevan for a concert to a Private concert, on october 24, for «Unibank» in Yerevan with President’s presence Serge Sargsyan.
During this concert, Didier & SpAce will create with the participation of the legendary musician Djivan Gasparyan, a new version of the song « Baby’s paradise ».
For this occasion Didier Marouani asked to his friend, the Russian painter, very well known, Ilias Aidarov, to create a painting representing children into the Paradise moving in cosmonauts dresses. This painting will be projected together with a small movie on the video screens during the creation of this new version on stage.
Some weeks later, this painting will be put on sale by auction for the benefit of the organization of Nostril Manukyan “Armenian Mothers” (Haymayrer.am) which takes care of suffering Armenian Children of Cerebral palsy and which make them cure.

In 1987, Didier composed a new album “Space Opera”, the first opera composed for synthesizers and choirs. He was able to obtain the participation of both the Red Army Choirs and the Harvard University Choirs (USA) for his album. The album was relayed to the Soviet space station “Mir”, making the album the first compact disc to be heard in space. The CD had been launched into space together with a CD player with the Russian cosmonauts. “Space Opera” went on to achieve great success in Europe.
He has already given a concert in Yerevan in 2009 before more than 11,000 people.
