Top 10 Armenian athletes of 2016 have been named based on the results the voting conducted by the Republican Federation of Sports Journalists of Armenia. Press Department of Republican Federation of Sports Journalists of Armenia reports about this.

Over 35 sports journalists have taken part in the voting process. They named Greco-Roman wrestler, Olympic gold medalist Artur Aleksanian as the best athlete of Armenia in 2016.
