Today, upon the invitation of Iran’s Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics Hossein Dehghani the delegation headed by Armenia’s Minster of Defense Vigen Sargsyan has paid an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Defense Ministry informed Panorama.am about this.
As the source reports, within the visit Vigen Sargsyan is slated for talks with Iran’s Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics Hossein Dehghani. Issues regarding the current state of the bilateral cooperation and development prospects, as well as issues related to the international and regional security and other matters of bilateral interest will be discussed during the talks.
Within the official visit Armenia’s Defense Minister will also hold meetings with high-ranking officials of Iran’s executive and legislative bodies and will pay visits to various research and industrial companies.
During his stay in Tehran the RA Defense Minster will also meet with the representatives of the Armenian community in Iran.
