President Serzh Sargsyan hosted today a group of renowned participants of the Yerevan meeting of the International Valdai Discussions Club. The topic of this session of the Club is titled the Time of Change: The World in the Era of Global Uncertainty.
In the framework of the event, the Club experts and representatives of Armenia’s scientific circles, as well as the state officials invited to the event presented their views.
The President of Armenia greeted the guests and stressed the importance of the meetings of the leading scientific and professional circles such as this one and the session of the Club held in Yerevan.
Noting that in the rapidly changing world many of the challenges and threats are of a global nature and recognize no borders, the President of Armenia noted that under such conditions the expert community acquires a greater importance, considering the fact that the objective analysis of the current reality and precise expert work greatly assist the political leaders in adopting efficient decisions.
The President of Armenia assessed as right and efficient the decisions which are supported by the public.

During the discussions held by President Sargsyan and members of the Valdai Club around the tea table, the participants exchanged views on the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy, developments in the Middle East, the NK peace process, current international issues, the present level of Armenia’s cooperation with other countries and international organizations, and their prospects.
President Serzh Sargsyan responded to the questions raised by the participants.
