On April 5, at 10:09 local time, (at 06:09 by Grinvich), the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered an earthquake at the northern latitude 35.820 and eastern longitude 60.470 geographic coordinates (Iran, 91 km south-east of the city of Mashhad), with 6.1 magnitude and 10 km depth.
The tremor measured magnitude 8 points at the epicenter area.
According to preliminary data, the earthquake killed two people and injured 30.
The quake was not felt in the RA.
