‘Tsarukyan’ alliance divided and collapsed before parliament’s first sitting: Zhoghovurd

The scandal is profitable for authorities: as a result, both Gagik Tsarukyan and Prosperous Armenia party, in the meantime before the first sitting of the National Assembly is held this alliance can be considered as collapsed and divided. And now the part of the alliance is out of Gagik Tsarukyan’s control. Moreover, it is supposed that part of the alliance is under Serzh Sargsyan’s control. Eventually, Serzh Sargsyan personally is creating a faction with the deputies from other factions.

According to rumors, Gagik Tsarukyan had an agreement with the candidates of its alliance if the candidates on “passing places” of the nationwide list are also on the rating list should also refuse the option of becoming a member of parliament through the proportional list. The latter agreed to pledge concrete number. After the elections, it turned out that not everyone managed to “keep the promise”. For example, Ararat Zurabyan who was on the 6th place on the proportional list, he got 1870 votes in the 4th electoral district, or Sergey Bagratyan got 4033 votes in the 12th electoral district. But on the other hand, the recusal of Napoleon Azizyan was strange as he got more votes in the 4th electoral district. By the same logic, it was unclear why Vahan Karapetyan, one of the dedicated members of PAP, submitted a recusal application when he got 8728 votes – the most votes in the 2nd electoral district. Also, the recusal of Khachik Manukyan does not fit this logic, as he also got the most votes from “Tsarukyan” alliance in the 7th electoral district. It is not excluded that they have submitted those applications because they could not manage to provide the pledged words.
