On July 6, the presentation of the film entitled “The Second Day of April” made by the “Public Relations and Information Center” of Staff of the President of the Republic of Armenia State Non-Profit Organization took place, where facts are represented from 2016 April War launch.
The film is based on the evidence of the children and their parents of Nerkin Chartar village of Artsakh. The children tell how they or their friends were injured in the morning of April 2, 12 years old Vagharshak was killed on his way to school. 3 of 4 arcs have fallen nearby the school. The parents tell how the drones of the Azerbaijani side have regularly appeared in the sky of the village and photographed the area.
Filmmakers Marina Grigoryan and Larisa Alaverdyan were present in the presentation.
Mrs. Alaverdyan mentioned that the film is in 5 languages, Turkish included. As stated by her, the rhetoric of Aliyev clan leaves no doubt that Azerbaijan will not cease its genocidal policy with exhortations and balanced announcements.
Larisa Alaverdyan finds that the film should be delivered to the respective bodies in any possible means.
As regards the news of the child’s death from the Azerbaijani side, according to her, Azerbaijan has turned the death of the child into a coin, in the case when it is totally indifferent towards people of what nation die because of the policy it conducts.
Marina Grigoryan also thinks that the manipulation of the death of the 2 years old child by Azerbaijan is a provocation balloon and she personally doubts on the circumstances of the death of the child and thinks the operations following it were staged in advance.
She reported that on April 2, 2016, Azerbaijan dropped arcs of large calipers nearby the school of the village by precise calculations, forasmuch as it had had an aim to kill a large number of children and a chaos to commence in Artsakh.
Member of the Parliament Arman Saghatelyan noted that the documentary film is another document with which the international public and relevant bodies should get acquainted. Pursuant to him, Azerbaijan’s behavior has not changed Khojaly onwards. Saghatelyan states that unchangeable handwriting of Azerbaijan constitutes to deploy the firing points in residential areas.
He recalled the incident happened to the correspondents of LifeNews recently. LifeNews staff had showed by live broadcast the actual situation in Azerbaijan Tartar residence for which it was exiled from the country. They had also shown that Azerbaijanis had deployed the grads, artillery, D-30 cannons and other pieces of military equipment in residential districts.
Member of Parliament Mihran Hakobyan informed that they have worked on the film for more than a year: “It is important that the film is watched not only by our, but the international public as well and them to be aware, inasmuch as today a huge struggle is going on for the hearts and the ideas in the world. Azerbaijan does everything to present the conflict to the international public from the angle most favorable to it. Our issue is to present not only the viewpoint of Armenia, but the truth.”
