A march dedicated to the anniversary of the capture of the patrol regiment took place at Liberty Square yesterday. It was not particularly crowded, the participants of the march chanted “Sasna Tsrer, Heroes”. Vice President of “Heritage” party Armen Martirosyan, Chairman of the “Yerkir Tsirani” party Zaruhi Postanjyan, member of the Founding Parliament Alek Yenigomshyan and others were at Liberty Square.
Zaruhi Postanjyan told reporters that she does not consider “Sasna Tsrer” as terrorists, and cited the results of the BBC survey that, according to her, shows that people share the view of Tsrer.
Alek Yenigomshyan expressed regret over the death of Colonel Arthur Vanoyan, and noted that “Sasna Tsrer” has nothing to do with the death of the other policemen, and it still needs to be proved. According to Alek Yenigomshyan, it is not possible to make changes in Armenia through elections, and according to him, that’s the reason that “Sasna Tsrer” rebelled. According to him, the April 2 elections were the last nail in the coffin of faith of those who believe in changes through elections.
