A regular session of the Military Council of the Defense Army of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh/NKR) was held in the country on Thursday, dedicated to summing up the results of the first semester of the current military academic year.
As the press service of Karabakh Defense Ministry told Panorama.am, the session was attended by military officers, heads of departments and services, as well as the chairs of the military law enforcement agencies. Lieutenant-General Movses Hakobyan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, also took part in the meeting.
The Military Council session kicked off with introductory remarks by Karabakh Defense Minister, Defense Army Commander, Lieutenant-General Levon Mnatsakanyan, followed by reports and speeches of the military officers referring to the achievements and shortcomings in their spheres of responsibility.
The defense army commander delivered concluding remarks at the end of the session. Turning to the conducted works in the indicated period, Mr. Mnatsakanyan gave relevant tasks to properly organize the activities of the second semester. He once again reminded the participants of the session that the adversary is unpredictable, calling on them to always remain alert and keep the powder dry.
