By
the new project "EU, new neighbors" Armenia will get money, which
inspire our officials.Yesterday the Prime Minister Andranik Margarian finished
his official visit to the Republic of Lithuania. It was noticed that Lithuania
was trying to undertake the obligation of the process of integration of the countries
of South Caucasus with Europe. The same Poland does in the Ukraine and Byelorussia. The
rulers of Lithuania didn’t hide that they preferred to make Georgia as the center-systemizer
in the South Caucasus. And made Armenia understand that the way to democratization
passed through the velvet revolution. The leadership of Armenia can’t adopt this
idea as they think that Armenia goes by the way of Euro integration and democratization
without revolution. The core themes with Andranik Margarian were the participation
of Armenia into "EU, new neighbors" project, recognition of the Genocide,
relations with Turkey, Russia and the settlement of Karabakh conflict. Yesterday
Andranik Margarian visited the Lithuanian Seimas /Parliament/ where he met its
chairman Arthuras Paulaskas.Summarizing the results after the visit the PM
noticed: "The visit was rather important. We certainly don’t expect that
a little barter Armenia-Lithuania will raise. But the joint business forum of
Armenian and Lithuanian businessmen took place where it became clear that there
were only the joint field of working together and we can solve a lot of problems
in that field. And it is interesting that they came to arrangements in those spheres
which are most developed in Lithuania. But it was found out that the opportunities
in those spheres are greater in our country than in Lithuania. For example in
the sphere of informative technologies and they are interested in sending their
solution to our country. Instead we are interested in using the ruling model of
Vilnius in Yerevan. We agreed about the collaboration of the Trade-industrial
chambers of both countries." According to the Prime Minister the Lithuanian
party is ready to hand the experience of EU membership to Armenia.Margaret
