\”A VERY POWERFUL ACTION\”

Hayk Babukhanian\’s promised “very powerful action” was demonstrated by leaving the CRU central office.
Hovanes Galajian, the head of CRU political commission and editor of “Iravunq” newspaper affirmed our supposition yesterday: ” Yes, it was just it. The staffs of both the newspaper and the party have struck.” We\’ll speak about the “Iravunq” but now let\’s represent what was happening yesterday when Hrant Khachatrian and his adherents visited CRU territory escorted by the officials of the Service of Compulsory Implementation of Court Acts /SCIA/ to implement the decree of Revision Court: that is, to give the CRU office, seal, financial documents back to the CRU acting leadership before the 17th session. The door of the office was closed. The gathered policemen, journalists were trying to guess whether there was no one inside the office. Hrant Khachatrian was telling the journalists during it: “The CRU\’s impostor leadership has produced false documents to the state register to involve us in legal proceedings. And they hope to receive a new certificate where it will be noted that Hayk Babukhanian is the head of the party.” We asked to elucidate the latter\’s accusation as if some persons on behalf of Hrant Khachatrian and his adherents phoned and threatened on February 19. “I was busy in writing letters to the state bodies and international organizations yesterday. My adherents never threaten, I always threaten by divine justice, according to Bible”.
Hrant Khachatrian also complained that CRU had never been a stronghold, it had been a “political beautiful oasis”, and nowadays “days of close doors are being held”. Then with the help of locksmith the doors were opened. Hrant Khachatrian told his first impression: “The locks of all rooms are changed. The safe at the leader\’s room where documents of the party, some personal papers and cartridges of a legal gun have been disappeared. My books, bookcase have also been disappeared.”
At 17:00 when SCIA officials recorded the situation of the rooms, Hrant Khachatrian gave a press conference and informed that the hard disks of all computers and good computers have also been disappeared. Before leaving the office they have taken the money from the safes. “There is no money at all, no accounting books etc.”
Mr. Khachatrian also informed in the press conference that they were going to hold CRU leadership sitting on February 21 to “Restore the order by law inside the party, to regulate the party\’s activities.” He also noted that the point to stop Hayk Babukhanian\’s membership for at least 6 months would be discussed.
It is possible that two “Iravunq” newspapers will be published on Friday. H. Khachatryan declared that they must do their best to restore “Iravunq\’s” former reputation, as it was before the revolt. According to beforehand discussions, Piruza Meliksetyan will be the editor of “Iravunq”.
