PLANTING TREE IS FORBIDDEN

The policemen forbade tree planting organized by“A1+” on the occasion of the TV Company’s 5 year closing. The secretary of DPA administration Stepan Zakaryan justified the police actions in this way: “You are right, forbid them. They will go a plant tree in front of presidential residence”. Avetik Ishkhanyan, the head of Helsinki Committee of Armenia was summoning to plant the abeles of the “Freedom of the speech” by force. In answer to that summon S. Zakaryan told: “No, we must plant the trees only on constitutional way”. In answer to the participants’ dissatisfaction ” why the prosecutor can plant trees but we can’t”, another participant told “Aghvan Hovsepyan has got special training for tree planting”.
