U.S. citizen Melissa Brawn, former Foreign Minister Alexander Arzumanyan\’s wife, said in fluent Armenian language the following during the meeting: “I don\’t understand policy much and don\’t carry out it, but I understand a thing: people who elect, give their votes, don\’t elect rulers but representatives. They don\’t elect kings, bosses, they elect representatives. And those who hold higher positions in the Government, National Assembly, they aren\’t representatives of our people. As for Alexander, who is now jailed and deprived of the freedom of the speech, just he represents our people”.
