PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan told yesterday that he didn’t appoint his relatives but only deserving persons in higher positions.
The extended sitting of «Prosperous Armenia» faction was held in the NA yesterday, where PAP representative ministers were taking part.
Samvel Adamyan was elected as the head of party headquarters which must coordinate the party\’s activities out of the parliament. The PAP parliamentarians must also meet with the voters of their districts and hear their requests.
Gagik Tsarukyan answered our and «Azatutiun» b/s questions after the sitting. The correspondent of «Azatutiun» b/s was interested in the following question: PAP was promising to provide new employements. Now, when the government\’s project is being formed, has PAP included its promise in it? In answer to that question Mr. Tsarukyan said: « What Mr. Tsarukyan has promised during the campaign, he has kept his promise, and today I have invited my party memebers to launch our work. Mr. Tsarukyan has told that he has formed this party to be useful for the country development, impovement of people\’s conditions. Tsarukyan has everything , and today he wants to improve people\’s life, for the people to live in prosperous life. I have always said, our projects will be achieved only in that case when we\’ll have 50+1 percent. But we have less than 50 percents, we have three portfolios: urban development, healthcare and sport, which will work transparently. I have told my ministers, our partisan ministers that people have trusted in us, you must be able to prove by your work, to show the changes and results. If any minister isn’t able to do his duties he\’ll resign. All our ministers have their own business and don\’t want to be ministers for serving it for their own purposes». In answer to our question that Mr. Tsarukyan is going to appoint in the post of governor in Gegharkunik region, the latter said that he was going to appoint his son-in-law. He also reminded: “Tsarukyan has always said that he would keep his promises, be sure; there is nothing I have said but haven’t achieved. I don’t appoint my relatives, the person who is capable in doing his duties is appointed”.
