The CRU members were drinking vodka with pickles on July 7.
The extraordinary sitting of CRU representatives’ council initiated by Hayk Babukhanyan’s adherents was held in Charentsavan town on June 16. On of the decisions was the following: “To hold the recurrent sitting of the representatives’ council in the hall of CRU “Azdak” club on July 7. They achieved their decision and Hayk Babukhanyan and two dozens of his adherents stayed at the CRU office for about 11 hours, from afternoon till midnight. According to “Iravunq”, after their meeting they began drinking vodka then cursing and quarreling, even tried to beat the oldest 70 year old person of the editorial staff. Hayk Babukhanyan’s adherents left only when the Police came.
We tried to find out from Hayk Babukhanyan whether the above-described events were true, he answered that “it is slander”. He also added that “we haven’t written about menus, we have written that the CRU highest body, the CRU Representatives’ council held a sitting and demanded from Hrant Khachatryan as an illegal person, to leave the party and give all the documents, financial resources back, which he has taken illegally. They also demanded from Hrant Khachatryan to give the seal and leave. Instead, Hrant Khachatryan called the police for three times.”
We also talked to Hrant Khachatryan who confirmed all above mentioned information published by “Iravunq”, and even more: “The officials of the editorial staff, the journalists were more anxious and tried to cover the event detailed. I advised them to cut it off».
Hrant Khachatryan told that Hayk Babukhanyan’s adherents were trying to slander me. They have taken cameras and were shooting only me. I was suggested to close the doors, but I didn’t close. So I have to bear those 11 hours. They have come for a special purpose to make me open several doors of our office and involve me in criminal case”.
Let me note that Hayk Babukhanyan and his adherents promised to come back before leaving CRU central office on July 7.
