NA parliamentary candidate shoemaker repairs the shoes of the theatre.
The number of Khachik Manukyans as parliamentary candidates isn\’t reduced yet. But it is already known that not everybody nominated their candidacy. Only two remained from Khachik Manukyans: the owner of «Lusakert» fowling fabric, former parliamentarian, republican businessman Khachik Manukyan and shoemaker Khachik Manukyan. Our attempt to have a phone conversation was unsuccesful, his home phone was switched off. So we decided to visit him at his home. It became clear that this Khachik Manukyan has only remote relations with the residences that N 15 polling station includes: he lives and works in Yerevan for about decades and works as a shoemaker. There was a signboard in front of his house “Shoemaker”. In front of the door “maybe it wasn’t the door of his house as the houses in that district are too close each other) a “Jeep” car was parked, two young men greeted me and one of them introduced himself as Khachik Manukyan’s son, Mukuch. He gave me a cell phone number very politely saying that his father will be back in 4-5 days. Another part of our conversation is as follows:
– Where is Khachik Manukyan
– He isn’t at home, he has gone to work.
– Where does he work?
– In theatre.
– He is a shoemaker, isn’t he?
– Yes, he repairs the shoes of the theatre.
– Where is he now?
– He has left for
–
– Yes, my aunt is very sick, he has visited her.
– When will he come back?
– In 5-6 days.
– Why has he nominated his candidacy, what will he do in the NA?
– I don’t know, ask him.
We tried to phone Khachik Manukyan for many times but the phone number was also switched off.
We hope that we’ll have a chance to talk to the NA candidate in 4-5 days.
