The lawmaker is on of the law breakers.
Though the RA Parliament with its parliamentarians is officially on leave, the lawmakers, besides having their rest in different foreign resorts, are also engaged in huge construction. Let’s cite once more the 65th article of the RA Constitution: “The parliamentarian shouldn’t be engaged in business, to hold a position in local self-governing or trade organizations, to implement any kind of payable work except scientific, pedagogical and creative work”. Undoubtedly our businessmen-lawmakers know this article by heart but they keep breaking the laws because they are sure that nobody will punish them.
Construction works are being carried out in Kanaker-Zeitun community, and the draft documents of that construction are drafted and implemented by “Grand Candy” Armenian-Canadian joint enterprise. It is very surprising that 31 years old Karen Vardanyan who was elected by the ARF proportional list and who is also the the chairman of the board of «Grand Candy» LTD, is give the permition of that construction.
Yerevan-City supermarket near theabove mentioned construction de facto belongs to another lawmaker, Samvel Alexanyan. The network of these shops are being enlarged, and nobody says that carrying out a business has nothing common with creative, scientific or pedagogical work.
There are two buildings located in Davitashen community which belong to RPA parliamentarian Armen Danielyan: one of those buildings is a flower shop «Elen» and another is a supermarket having an influential name of «Senator». If Mr. Danielyan refuses the belonging of other establishents,o his family, he keeps scilence about this one: maybe for the reason that he is sometimes called «Flower Armen» after that shop. We should also note he breakes the law not only owning a private business. According to the law, the names of all state and private sector establishments should be written in Armenian, then in a foreign language and in smaller letters.
