- I agree with you and don’t want to hide that we are enthusiastic about it. Manuk Gasparyan was the first politician who alluded about «who is more» expression. Our colleagues are right: «National Unity» Party, realizing the threats of the country, don\’t want to have a passive behavior. We don\’t adopt the behavior of false oppositionist, and false patriotism coming from it. We are ready to shoulder a great responsibility to save our country from dangerous developments. We want to form a combined team political forces from the opposition, which will be ready to trust in «National Unity» to oppose the challenges sent to our country. I think that both Manuk Gasparyan meant just this by the expression «who is more».
- Don\’t you think that Artashes Geghamyan’s silence, his meeting with Levon Ter-Petrosyan and the latest activities of the «National Unity» leadership give reasons for some interpretations?
- There have been discrepant remarks in the press lately that the «National Unity» has already made a decision to support its selected politician for the upcoming presidential elections. Several forces think that we\’ll join Levon Ter-Petrosyan, and others think that we\’ll support Serge Sargsyan. This means that the problems which the «National Unity» and its leader Artashes Geghamyan intend to solve are partially achieved.
- What do you mean?
- Mr. Geghamyan\’s declaration was not accidental after the NA elections: we should focus our attention and analyze what has happened during the elections, in what stage our country, public appeared after the elections and whether the NA majority became the core for our nation\’s unification. We displayed such a policy which causes a lot of interesting discussions. The opinions of our partners are very important for us, because each politician leads a certain number of adherents.
- Anyway, is it possible that your party will support Levon Ter-Petrosyan or Serge Sargsyan?
