SYUNIK POPULATION IS REPUBLICAN

Head of Syunik region Suren Khachatryan thinks.

–         Is the amount estimated for Syunik region by the budget enough for you?

–         Certainly, it is not enough.

–         How much is it and how much do you spend?

–         It is different, educational system, health and capital construction are different articles and the educational system is allocated by the ministry of Finance, we control the money, the same refers to the health sphere, there is certain dissatisfaction in the sphere of capital construction, the amount is few enough, we have got several schools we should be repaired.

–         Which kind of political situation does exist in your region, which parties are active?

–          Republican Party is active, in general the situation is not strained, and it is very calm and peaceful.

–         How is the activity of the Republican demonstrated?

–         The population of Syunik is “Republican”.

–         If the Republican wasn’t the authority whether the picture would be the same?

–         Republican Party has always been active and gathered more votes than the rest of parties.

–         The First President announced his candidacy, which attitudes do you have regarding this issue?

–         I don’t know exactly whether he is going to nominate his candidacy.

–         He told that he would nominate.

–         The time will show; the results of the elections will show.

–         Don’t you worry?  Aren’t there people in Syunik who are for ANM and Ter-Petrosyan and that circumstance may change the situation?

–         Which situation?

–         The situation in the country.

–         I don’t think so, I am even sure that the Republicans will win as they did in the previous elections.

–         Aren’t you anxious about pre-electoral period and elections as a head of region?

–         I don’t know how is the situation in the rest of regions, but it is calm in Syunik, I am sure that the Republican Party will win Syunik.

–         Republican Party got 50% votes from your region in the parliamentary elections, will the result be the same or will you do more?

–         The RPA candidate will receive more votes.

–         As I know you write books, which is the last book about?

–         I have already written, it is “Lernahayastan”, it is history of the whole Syunik, 17-21 years. We have presented it to the Institute of History, it is a scientific theme.

–         What about poem?

–         I don’t write poems.

–         Why?

–         After Hamo Sahyan I can’t write anything better, it will be meaningless.
