He joined the national struggle of 88 when he was 65 year old and famous scientist. He shared all difficulties of the rest of members of “Karabagh” committee. He became an oppositionist after independence and remained so. One of his last action was his participation in Zhirayr Seyfilian’s trial. Rafael Ghazaryan might be wrong but he had never imitated.
