CONSOLIDATION

  NA parliamentarian Eduard Sharmazanov is sure that the issues should be solved by dialogues

–          When will the issue on collaboration with the authority coalition be solved with the ARF?

–          We haven’t decided that issue yet since the post electoral period is still on and the final meeting of our candidate’s electorate took place yesterday. As regard the coalition agreement, it is not secret that we have experience of joint work  with the ARF since 2003, and I think that our republic and citizens only reaped the benefits of that collaboration. ARF is a self-dependent political force and it should decide its further activities itself. We will reply after the coalition sitting. I want to remind that Serge Sargsyan called for collaboration all political forces proving once more that he and the RPA are for political tolerance.

–          At the same time when Serge Sargsyan was calling for joint collaboration, Robert Kocharyan was speaking on TV that he was patient last six days and is not going to be patient, alluding that violence will be used against the participants of the protest.

–          Serge Sargsyan called all political forces to consolidate, he is about of his personal ambitions and is led by the state interests, and the state interest demands to have a unified country. If the opposition’s aim is our country’s progress they should discuss the current issues, negotiate. As for Robert Kocharyan’s announcement which in your opinion opposes to Serge Sargsyan’s proposal for cooperation, I should say that Mr. Kocharyan is not for using violence but he has proved that as the head of country, he is obliged to solve the problem of the state security. The President said that everything should be done in the scope of the Constitution. I think that each citizen understands that democracy is the rule of law.

–          Anyway all those activities which the people in Freedom Square carry out are done within the framework of democracy and Constitution.

–          If we speak about democracy there is a recorded fact that Serge Sargsyan got 52,08% of votes.

–          The opposite party does not agree with it.

–          The power which has adopted political refusal does not agree with the results.

–          The participants of your mass meetings left it and joined Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s meeting in the Freedom Square.

–          They went to see how their brothers and sisters feel themselves there.
