The NA allowed to arrest those 4 parliamentarians who called to calmness on March 1.
The RA Presodent shouldn\’t declare those people as criminals and their activities as a crime before the court decree.
But the same was the NA sitting held on March 4, where the parliamentarians Hakob Hakobyan, Myasnik Malkhasyan , Sasun Mikayelyan and Khachatur Sukiasyan were deprived of their parliamentary immunity. Aghvan Hovsepyan said about the above-noted people that they have actively participated in running riots, various assistance, such as distributing weapons , organizing mass disorders etc.
No RPA and PAP lawmaker as a question to Aghvan Hovsepyan. ARF faction parliamentarian Ara Nranyan was interested from the Public Prosecutor: “I understand the appraisal of the general situation but it is not clear the clear sin of these four parliamentarians, and exactly what crimes are they accused of? It would be better to know who and what has done from these parliamentarians, and why should this decision be made today?” But Aghvan Hovsepyan didn’t add anything new saying: “It is noted in the petition both the behaivior and its legal opinion 3rd part of 225 article and 1st part of 300 article of the the Criminal Code».
Another Parliamentarian from the ARF faction Artsvik Minasyan continued the question: «The accuastions are not personalized in the petition. If it is possible, please note very clearly because the same articles 300 and the 3rd part of 225 article are made against all 4 lawmakers».The General Prosecutor said: «It is noted in the petition. They have committed that crime by their summons and assistance».
«Heritage» Party parliamentarian Zaruhi Postanjyan made another failed attempt to clarify the question.
Let\’s cite what already arrested Hakob Hakobyan and Myasnik Malkhasyan told about their activities. Hakob Hakobyan said that he came to the square near the French Embassy at about 3:00 pm. « I have gone and didn\’t allow to break BMP windows or firings ( colonel of the internal forces Khachatryan Arthur may evidence this) at that moment… The windows of a bus were being broken after, I asked my driver to drive the bus, closed the street and I also could be injured.» In his words the Chief of Police or NSS chief thanked him after.
Myasnik Malkhasyan said in his speech that the parliamentarians «were trying to prevent the events which could have heavy concequences». In his words «We were calling our people, colleagues to calmness, that the problem should be solved fairly, the justice should prevail and people should be able predict their future by fair, elections». He also told about his speech made on March 1: «I have told that we ask you not to be engaged in self-activities, it may cause serious consequences».
Let\’s also cite Khachatur Sukiasyan\’s speech, according to the saved record: «I have a request, tranfer it to each other: no additional action, no other movement. We\’ll wait our leader here. I ask you not to involve in any provocation. I ask everybody. I beg you».
Myasnik Malkhasyan was asking his colleaugues on March 4 whether those calls are demonstrations of uzurpation. «Our colleuges who have been there, who have made speeches, have never called people to any provocation. The actions of all of them have been balanced.»
But the majority of NA parliamentarians, without giving any question to Myasnik Malkhasyan and Hakob Hakobyan gave their consent to arrest them.
