Practical, realistic, optimistic and eventually humane

In his first public statement as the Human Rights Defender of the RA Karen Andreasyan particularly said, “The equality of the people under the law was always the most important principle for me as a lawyer, because I know that it is the basis of jurisprudence. As a practical man, I also know that this is one of the most difficult rules to fulfill. As a realist, I have no doubt that performing this mission one is more often a target for criticism, than for admiration. But as an optimist I believe that “Little strokes fell great oaks”. And in the end as a humane person I completely agree with another idealist who said, nobody forces you to change the world and make it better, but at the same time nobody freed you from taking part in that”. He also added, “How will my job come out only time can tell which I do not want to waste. That is the reason why I am taking the opportunity to temporarily refuse making public speeches, but I will shorten it to 50 days instead of usual 100 days”. It turns out that the new HRD (Human Rights Defender) will keep silence for the next 50 days even if human rights violations take place.
