The tent issue is being decided at the highest level

In recent days not only the Head of EU Delegation to Armenia Raul de Luzenberger, the Deputy Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan Carel Hofstra, but also the Minister of Justice of the RA Hrayr Tovmasyan, who is by the way one of the founders of the Heritage party, have visited the hunger striker Raffi Hovannissian. Yesterday in response to “Aravot’s” question whether the problem of putting up a tent for the hunger striker at night has not been resolved even after these meetings, Raffi Hovannissian answered that he has not asked for a tent. “The international and Armenian organizations have raised that issue and so far, as far as I know, there has been no change, though the issue has reached the Chief of Police and maybe even higher instances.” Obviously, the tent issue is decided or rejected at the highest level in our country.
