Steps to calm things down

  Yesterday, during the conversation with journalists the president of the RA Serzh Sargsyan referring to the internal situation, particularly, said, “Division has never led to any nation’s or any country’s good. They could not solve issues of development with evil anywhere; we all have to overcome the evil. Only the strong can prevail over the evil. Today we have a strong government, we have an opposition that does not allow the authorities to relax their vigilance, and through cooperation, we can achieve important results for our country. We are ready to be the first here too, we are ready to take steps of calming things down, and I have already assigned the Minister of Justice to make offers.” In this context, the idea last mentioned can be perceived as a promise to release the political prisoners, i.e. the Minister of Justice is assigned to find legal grounds for taking that step.
