The great idea of Yerkrapah

  May 8 was the day of Yerkrapah and as every year, this time also on May 8 Yerablur was full of people. The members of Union of Yerkrapah Volunteers, officers of middle and low rank, also the relatives of Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan, the representatives of the Armed Forces of the RA, the Defense Minister of the RA and many citizens put flowers and wreaths on Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan’s and Zoravar Andranik’s tombs. The UYV Chairman, General Manvel Grigoryan, congratulating the present, assured that Yerkrapah will always be the pioneer of our country and added, “The independence of Artsakh has no alternative. We today, like 20 years ago, stand by the people of Artskakh. I have always said to defend and enrich what you freed is more important than freeing it.” General Manvel did not found random that the year 2011 was declared the year of young Yerkrapah, “For every Yerkrapah there will not be bigger idea than the unity of his nation, the stability of his state, the safety and security of its borders.”
