2000 monitors are needed

  Levon Zurabyan, the supervisor of the Armenian National Congress met with the EU representative in Armenia, the ambassadors of Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, as well as with the representatives of the embassies of other EU member states in Armenia. According to the ANC information given to the press, Levon Zurabyan presented the EU representatives the process of realizing the three demands made by the Armenian National Congress to the government and expressed conviction that on May 31 prerequisites would be created to start the dialogue with the agenda of forming a legitimate government through out-of-turn elections. Zurabyan stated that one of important guarantees of holding fair and transparent elections can be sending under the auspices of the EU and its member states such an international monitoring mission that will allow placing at least one permanent monitor in each of about 2000 polling stations.
