Felix Khachatryan, one of the members of the five-member delegation of the Armenian National Congress responsible for the dialogue and the PPA (People’s Party of Armenia) board secretary, in the conversation with news.am said reflecting on the absence of the government’s wish to negotiate on the pre-term elections, that the Congress does not feel offended because of that, “We did not go for cronyism that should be offended now. We just wanted and want to fix the critical situation in the republic peacefully as soon as possible. If the government does not wish that, it is their problem. There are many other means in our arsenal to reach the solution of the problems.” In response to the question, whether the ANC rushed to form a delegation of the negotiators with the government not knowing the reaction of the government to that, Khachatryan said, “Firstly, the government itself said that it agreed on the negotiations. Secondly, we did not rush, since in the current situation any day that passes is a lost day, so we are willing to take steps to fix the situation as soon as possible.”
