As a result of the meeting that took place in Kazan presidents of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan Serzh Sargsyan, Dmitri Medvedev and Ilham Aliyev made a joint statement, in which it was mentioned that in the Basic Principles Agreement issue of the peaceful settlement of the NK conflict the sides had had a progress, “The country leaders have reached a mutual understanding on a set of issues, the solution of which will contribute to the creation of the prerequisites for accepting the basic principles.”
