2 accidents – 8 injured

Yesterday at 7 am on the section of the village of Arevaghbyur of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway driver of a BMW with 22 úî 525 numbers, resident of the village of Zovuni of the region of Kotayk, 25-year-old Surik Tovmasyan ran into 48-year-old Zhirik Sargsyan’s “KamAZ” in front of him and turning over, slipped for 5 meters on the centerline. 4 people were brought from the crash to the hospital of Artashat with injuries and afterwards to Erebuni Medical Center. While the police and the insurance companies were doing their job, Speaker of the NA Hovik Abrahamyan was riding toward Yerevan along the same road and governor of Ararat Edik Barseghyan was riding toward Artashat.

At around 6 pm the same day, a Volvo with 61 ÈÈ 613 and a Jeep with 61 úú 899 numbers clashed on the 25th km of the Yerevan-Armavir highway. The driver of the Volvo, 54-year-old Hrachik Kirakosyan and his two passengers were taken to the hospital of Ejmiadzin and the driver of the Jeep, 41-year-old Hovhannes Hakobyan to the hospital of Metsamor. At the moment, governor of Armavir Ashot Ghahramanyan was riding toward Yerevan from Armavir, rushing to the Cabinet.
