Pan-Armenian National Movement board member Hovhannes Igityan, during an interview with “Aravot” answering the question whether he thinks that it is possible to solve the issues voiced by the ANC through the dialogue, said, “I don’t think that the negotiations will solve the problems that exist in the internal political life of Armenia and for which we have struggled for many years. It is obvious already that the dialogue will not find the answers to the questions that have concerned both our society and the international organizations for more than four years – why did March 1 happen etc. If anyone says that this dialogue is a guarantee that new elections will be held normally, I will not believe, because at the end of the day, the reasons are not eliminated – people who rigged or made up cases, condemning people for their political views etc. are still holding their offices. Nobody was held responsible and nobody talks about this. There are people who say that we will see; there is still time left till September, at least we will be able to say that we have tried. That notion exists and I accept it.”
