The Armenian National team lost the opportunity of continuing struggle for qualifying for the final stage of Euro-2012 by losing 2:1 to Ireland in Dublin. However, our team did not really lose. Furthermore, on the 26th minute our team were reduced to ten men, but continued honorable struggle against the whole Irish team and their “best player”, Spanish referee Eduardo Iturralde Gonzalez. The whole Europe saw that there was no handball outside the penalty area by Roman Berezovski, on the contrary the rival football player appearing almost one-on-one with the goalkeeper literally handled the ball. However, the referee sent Berezovski off. This is not only our conviction. The numerous replays, as well as active discussions on the social network, even Russian reporters testify to the truth of what we have said. Anyway, the score is not important. Our national team played all matches in the qualifying stage with dignity and so did they finish.
