“The Armenian National Congress (ANC) will certainly continue doing anything they can to hold a span election, however since it doesn’t only depend on us, we must be ready for any developments. If we, despite all efforts, are not able to reach Serzh Sagsyan’s resignation in the short run – nothing is ruled out in politics – then the Congress must seek for guaranteeing influential presence in the National Assembly that will be able to directly raise the issue of resignation, in other words, impeachment separately or in alliance with other forces”, started his speech Levon Ter-Petrossian, the first president of the Republic of Armenia and the ANC leader yesterday. His statement was in a way unexpected also for the ANC member party leaders. In any case, “Aravot” did not manage to get comments from them on why ANC did not agree to the coalition proposal to run for the regular election “under the rules of civilized rivalry”.
