One of our readers sent us this video that shows how newly-elected mayor of Ijevan Vardan Ghalumyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), gives someone something from his pocket. The reader claims that Ghalumyan bribed the voters and that the video was filmed on the day of the Ijevan mayor election, November 13, in downtown Ijevan, in the Yerevan Street, in front of the PAP office that was also Vardan Ghalumyan’s pre-election headquarters. According to our reader, all that was done under the nose of the region administration headed by a Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) governor, which means that RPA closed their eyes to that. Let us remind that our sources in Ijevan alerted us as early as during the election that the voters are bribed, and they were even assuring that a few people had been brought in on allegations of election bribery, but had been released a short while after.
