On November 25 shots were heard in Yerevan. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reported from the scene, at around 9pm shots were heard in Zavaryan 64 building. Many police officers, led by Nerses Nazaryan, the Chief of the Police Department of the City of Yerevan, Sargis Martirosyan, the chief of the Kentron Police Unit, and Meruzhan Stepanyan, the chief of Marash Division, arrived at the scene very quickly, within seconds. The officers of the special department of the police main department combating organized crime, masked and equipped with special means, arrived at the scene.
It turned out on the spot that an unknown person was shooting from the window of a 9-story building, the people gathered at the scene told the photojournalist that the police officers neutralized the person armed to the teeth very quickly and professionally and brought him to the Police Kentron Unit.
Gagik Shamshyan found out from neighbors that the arrested was businessman Ashot Ghazaryan and that his son was admitted to some college in Moscow, on the occasion of which Ashot Ghazaryan had thrown a party and had started to fire guns into the air during that party.

The investigators and criminal experts are investigating and analyzing the scene in apartment 25. The photojournalist has just informed that Ashot Ghazaryan and his friends have been just taken to the Kentron Investigation Unit Office.
The people gathered at the scene informed that Ashot Ghazaryan was staggering. At the behest of the investigator, the arrested were transferred to the hospital to decide the degree of their sobriety.
